Every year in winter, we set up our bird-feeding place, filled with plenty of 
sunflower seeds. When were feeding birds for the first time, we used a seed mix, but strangely enough, all the sunflower seeds were gone first. From then on, we always fed sunflower seeds only, and it seems, the birds are happy with it. There are mostly tits and bullfinches to be seen.
Even if it’s really entertaining to watch the birds helping themselves, we should only feed them in wintertime. If we did in summer, birds would no longer try to find their own food like insects and bugs.
